Shiatsu
Shiatsu is a form of Japanese Physiotherapy with its roots in oriental medicine and involves the application of both pressure and stretching techniques.
Shiatsu literally means finger pressure, however, the practitioner may also use thumbs, elbows, knees, forearms and sometimes feet during the treatment.
In terms of yin and yang, yin is relatively more female, structural and nourishing energy compare to the more outward, expansive energetic yang. Our aim is to feed and nurture the internal yin energy to make us physically stronger balanced and energetic.
